The History of Imageperfect

1984 
Ultramark® is founded - a brand and manufacturing facility of materials in Lancaster, UK

1987 Spandex acquires Ultramark. Soon after they innovate by launching a wide range of 50 colors - which no other brand had previously offered, marketed as the "Signmaker's Colour Palette"

1996 Imageperfect's range of printable materials is launched, with a groundbreaking range of affordable films

2004 Imageperfect expands its portfolio to include digital and signage materials and all Ultramark products are rebranded. The manufacturing plant achieves ISO 9001 certification





2015 PerfectApply technology is first introduced within signage materials for bubble-free application

2017 The manufacturing plant achieves ISO 14001 certification

2019 SuperGlide adhesive is added to an ever-growing portfolio of digital materials for ease of application

2022 Imageperfect EverGreen is released. A unique range of environmentally responsible signage and digital films. The manufacturing plant is renamed Eikon Ltd.

2023 Imageperfect achieves a milestone selling to over 60 countries in six continents. Imageperfect's best selling products are carbon measured

2024 Imageperfect unveils its new logo to represent its evolving journey

We manufacture to a high standard at our plant in Lancaster, UK รข€" ISO9001 and ISO14001.

Up to 7% Reduction in Carbon Emissions:
Thanks to an increased use of renewable energy and improved manufacturing practices some of our key products have up to 7% reduction in carbon emissions.

New Adhesive:
Less Solvent = Same Performance
Now Toluene-Free!

Sustainable Packaging:
  • Unbleached cardboard boxes made from sustainable, FSC certified pulp which does NOT require the use of plastic tape.
  • Bags made from recycled polyethylene.
  • Roll supports made of FSC-accredited recycled paper and low-density polyethylene used on the majority of products.
